Influence of MWCNTs on mechanical and viscoelastic properties of glass-carbon epoxy composite

چکیده

The influence of Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) on mechanical and viscoelastic properties epoxy-based Glass/Carbon fiber hybrid composite were investigated. In the present work, a small amount MWCNTs in range 0.25 - 1 wt. % is directly mixed epoxy/matrix material. Different composites prepared by hand lamination method placing Glass Carbon reinforcements alternatively matrix. Tensile, Bending, Impact, tests carried out as per ASTM to characterize Hybrid laminates. results revealed an increase tensile strength decrease flexural with percent. Impact pure much higher compared other Transition Temperature unaffected addition wt% matrix (Tg). storage modulus, loss tan delta laminates calculated using Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA).
